Training Guide: How to Prepare and Run Local Y-AGORA Teams

Y-AGORA Training Guide is a practical manual intended for youth workers, facilitators and organizations that want to support young people in active citizenship, democratic participation and local action.

The guide includes five thematic modules: active citizenship and democratic participation, communication and empathy, media and digital literacy, collective action and forum theater, as well as mentoring for civic initiatives and influencing public policies. Through theoretical insights, practical activities, reflection tools and self-assessment questionnaires, the material helps participants develop skills in dialogue, critical thinking, collaboration, advocacy and community work.

Special focus is placed on local Y-AGORA teams as spaces for dialogue, exchange of ideas and co-creation of solutions to community challenges. The manual supports young people to recognize local problems, understand decision-makers, involve different actors and turn ideas into concrete civic actions.
